Best GEW yet!!
This is my fourth GEW/EW and i think it is safe to say the events are getting better and better so where to start? The coverage of the opening in British Library online was amazing and made those of us who couldn’t get there in person feel a part of it. Great Sankey High School have run a whole series of fantastic events throughout the week encouraging students to establish mini-enterprise and sell products during GEW to ensure sustainable enterprise as well as help a variety of charities. There have been loads of awards ceremonies in the North West to celebrate enterprise, my favourite being Morgan Awards which was AMAZING!! So many inspirational entrepreneurs including many Enterprise UK Ambassadors and Steve Morgan himself. Finally for my highlights DEAF BME Network launch run by EUK Ambassador Esmail Patel including presentations from the fabulous Nighat Awan who is not only a great speaker but an absolute inspiration. I could go on all week with highlights!! Great GEW!

Sissy Rooney "Street Style Surgery"
Sissy uses the creative technique of using fabrics and materials to help students discover their individuality. Through spraypainting and using gel paints students learnt how to design and create their own exclusive t.shirts. This opportunity is not available to them in their school so this gave the students a chance to engage in an activity that encouraged them to learn about creative skills. For some it ignited an interest in design and fashion.

Strive To Succeed Workshop with KOF, Liverpool
Kof and Yaw Owusu from Urbeatz delivered a workshop to students at New Heys Specialist Business & Enterprise College. Through the power of music they proved that you can gain self esteem and confidence in your own abilities and be successful in any field you desire. 150 students also watched a 30 min performance by KOF which engaged them in an activity they all felt they could relate to.
