The Roadshow, in partnership with and sponsored by Microsoft was launched in Enterprise Week 2007 at Thames Valley University, and completed on 7th March 2008 at Sheffield Castle College.

Students visited a giant inflatable igloos on campus to join workshop sessions designed to help them generate ideas and think about how to turn them into a reality.  Later in the day, the best ten business ideas had the opportunity to pitch their ideas in front of a panel of judges, including entrepreneur Alex Tew, and Microsoft representatives for the chance to win a prize of £150.  The winners went through to the national final, where they competed to win £2,000 plus a package of Microsoft products to help them get their business underway.
